There is a show happening tonight at Black Sheep! It is the last day of March and tomorrow is the first day of April if that means anything.Β Tonight we have returning friends Lume from Chicago who have been here a good number of times and played here last in the fall for Our Lady’s final show. You can stream some of their music on the player below. Then we have a rare full-band version of the B.J. Pearce ambient project Pretend I’m Not There. Don’t miss a surely powerful performance from them. Before that once again we have Krelboyne who also performed here last month for our Valentine’s Day show. There has been a slight change the the lineup since we’ve announced things- Drained from Peoria had to drop the bill. 😦 Sorry. Opening things up is a solo performance by Blue Parks of the band Pryss.

This show starts at 7:00 pm and admission is $6. Check out a facebook event for this one right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page for a look at everything else coming up at Black Sheep this spring.

Today we are bringing you a new hit music video, and another video shot in our own neighborhood of Southtown Springfield by local hip hop artist “Nefarious Cloud“. The video is for the song “Off Dat” and was actually shot inside Southtown’s own Boof City Skate Shop. Very cool. Check out the video embedded below.

The video was produced by Kabass who will be performing at the Black Sheep “Galactic Vibrations” electronic show coming up here on Friday, April 7th. More info on that one right here. Check out more Springfield band music videos on our vids/pics page.

Gosh dangit, we have a show here on Saturday, April 8th with seven whole bands. This one is being called “springing into 2017” or something. For this one we have the band Welcome Home on tour from St. Louis. We will be welcoming them to Springfield. Check out their music on the player below. We have a good number of bands from out of town from the Central Illinois area on this show. This also includes “Unamused Dave” from Peoria. We are unamused at that band name, Dave. Also we have “Avoid” from somewhere around here (that band is really hard to search for on google to find their music)!! Also “Shoot The Messenger” from Tinley Park, Illinois. Then this show also has a few bands familiar to the Black Sheep stage. We have AshlandΒ from somewhere around here who last played here in October. Also Sidelined who played the last Ashland show and again at Black Sheep another time since then. Last band we have to list off is Gadget from Decatur. We are not sure the order those bands will be playing!

This show will start at 6:00 pm sharp and admission is $7. Check out a facebook event for the show right here. Also be sure to check out our shows page for a list of what else is going on this spring at Black Sheep right here.
