Today is a big day all over Southtown, we will be celebrating the birth of Dumb Records, (which turns two years this week) with a show at Black Sheep! There will be a four band show tonight at Black Sheep, sales all day at Dumb Records, and a raffle to give away a record player going on all day (names drawn tonight at the show). For the show, we have local three-piece project boon headlining the bill. We also have a couple of bands on tour from St. Louis including the emo/post rock band Carte de Visite, which you can find streaming below. The other St. Louis project also playing tonight is a new one called Wow Wow Gold. Then opening things up we have a big grand rock n’ roll debut for a new Springfield band called Livin’ Thing which features members of GUSH, King Worm, and Soap Scum.

The show begins at 7:00 pm tonight at Black Sheep and admissions is $5. You can find a facebook event for everything today right here. Also check out our shows page to see everything else coming up in Southtown in the coming weeks. In addition to the show there will be a 15% off sale going on at Dumb Records for all items all day long. There will also be $2 raffle tickets being sold in the store all day for a chance to win a brand new record player at $100 value. The winners for that will be drawn at the show tonight before the last band.
